Friends from Low Places
Elsie will always have a special place in my heart. I guess you could say that she is my Sullivan's real first friend. She and Sully were NICU buddies. Her mother and I met while waiting in line for a nursing stall while in the NICU. Both of our husbands had recently had to go back to Quincy and we were alone in more ways than one. Connecting with another human being during a time when you feel lost and helpless builds a friendship like no other. I am honored to do this shoot for her big brother and nephew.
Warming Up
This little beauty didn't quite know what to think about me or the fact that we were in a park, in the drizzle, and she wasn't on the playground. Her Daddy made everything better, however, and we were able to catch some sweet images. I am honored to have this beautiful family as a repeat customer and look forward to a warmer session in the Spring!
Snow White
My sweet, spunky girl was Snow White for Halloween and is having a Snow White themed birthday party. Every time I look at this face, into those big brown eyes, I am overwhelmed with the fact that I am this sweet angels Mommy. She is opinionated, strong willed, and loud. And my God, is she perfect.
Weisheit Wedding
Here is something I never thought I would do...I got to photograph my own Dad's wedding! It was such a nice day and it is so nice to see him so happy. My son sat in the pew and asked, "When is it my turn?!" He wanted to be a part of it, too! It was a great day, and I'm so happy they asked me to take a few photos.
Schwartz Family
Kathy is my bosses sister. She was kind enough to ask me to photograph her kids and grandkids this summer. We had a great time doing separate family shoots and then some of just the adorable kiddos. Such a fun group and I was honored to capture these pictures for them to treasure for years to come.
Liam!
Liam is another one of my sweet girls first friends! He celebrated his first birthday this past weekend and I was so excited to get to do this fun photo shoot for him. Happy birthday, sweet boy!
Nathan
I work with Nathan's mom and in typical mom fashion, she raves about his accomplishments. In her case, she has every right! Nathan is involved in just about everything a senior can and he excels at them all. I was delighted and honored to be asked to photograph his senior photos. Good luck in Iowa, Nathan!
